I had been building my web page for about a year using my web page host's own builder. I noticed so many other pages that looked so much better and I did not know that there was so much I couldn't do with the host's web page builder. After finally asking another web page junkie how he was building pages with frames and so forth, he let me know of Microsoft's Frontpage 2000. I had just got the Office 2000 program and noticed that it came with Frontpage 2000, so I gave it shot.
The ease of use was a big relief. It is very self explanatory and has a convenient help menu. Unlike the host's online page builder, I could now build my page offline, and then upload it when I was finished. Also, whenever I update my page with Frontpage, it automatically knows to update it to the web.
Frontpage 2000 makes it very easy to add photos and text and be able to view it without being online. It automatically stores all my web page files, pages and photos into it's own folder, which makes it easy to locate and update. I highly recommend this webpage builder to anyone who is tired of online web page builders or anyone who is confused and intimidated by HTML.
Unfortunately, I cannot compare this product to any other similar, (not online builders), for I have not used any other. However, i can say that this particular webpage builder is very good.
