| Nivek's Full Review: Dell Dimension XPS T700r |
Let me start by saying one thing. Wow. That describes the moment from when I bought this computer up and including now. Before my Dell Dimension system, I was using a stone age computer. With the things I can do now, it is simply amazing. Aside from a fine tuned computer, you get lovely technical support, who love to help.
I purchased this product because It was not too expensive, and I could custom configure it through an easy-to-use interface on the web, or talk with a learned sales person. The sales person whom I talked with did not pressure me into buying anything extra. He was actually quite of an assistance to me.
Because they can be custom-tailored, I recommend these computers to anyone. They outperform other company's systems in tests, are relatively cheaper, and come with a nice blue mouse pad =)
I have had a few problems with this system, but nothing tech support could not fix. Dell releases patches through the web, which makes keeping your system up-to-date a breeze.
The only problem they can't fix is the lack of PCI ports. There are 5 in my system, and occupied by a NIC, a Modem, a DVD Card, a Sound Card, and a Graphics card. Also, my 5 1/4 Bays are full (DVD and CD-RW)
Other than that, it is the best investment a loving parent could make for their children or for themselves.
