Not your average SE

I've learned a lot about Search Engines in the last several months, and believe me - I've used them ALL. In my line of work, it is a daily project, searching for information and resources.
When I need to find something specific, the first SE (Search Engine) I head to is Google. Why do I like google? There are a few reasons:
1. Google is a "popularity based" search engine, meaning that the links it searches for are the one that are referred to the MOST on the 'net by other sources.
2. Google is FAST. It will actually tell you at the top just how long it took to do the entire search - and it is always under a second.
3. Google highlights the keywords you searched for. After listing the URL, it will quote a portion of the document and highlight the specific keyword(s) you searched for, so you know right away if it is along the lines of what you were looking for.
What DON'T I like about Google?
1. Because it is a "popularity based" search engine, sometimes it will pop up multiple pages of the same site - the one that is most popular will fill up the first 20 spaces, so you do have to go further down the list to find other sites with the same relevant material.
2. It is so keyword specific, if I am looking for something somewhat off-topic, I won't find it through Google unless I go to the very bottom of the list.
Other than that, I think Google is a great SE when you are looking for the most relevant material under a specific topic.
