Go Gateway!Mar 09 '00 Write an essay on this topic.I am currently a student and I am in my junior year. Let me just say how very difficult it is now days to get through even a year of college without access to a home computer! Not only did I have to beat the clock to get into the computer labs but also all the other students. Finally here about a month ago I decided to look into getting my own. I went to the local places in town and basically got laughed at because I am young and trying to buy a computer without the help of my parents. I didn't appreciate the sales representatives showing me the 10 year old computers that you couldn't get any features on, but by gosh they were cheap in price. Finally I caught the number for Gateway on the T.V. It said it had a low monthly payment plan with all the features you could think of. This was right up my alley. I called the 800 number and order one that evening. They told me it would be 7 or 8 working days before it would be delivered. Five days later the UPS was at my front door with 5 boxes. I started to wonder if I was going to be able to put it all together myself. To my surprise I found it couldn't have been easier. It was all color coded! This was great! I finally got everything set up and it is looking sharp. I added internet and I have never been more organized when it comes to my education! Anything I need to look up it is right at the touch of a key. My Gateway has dictionaries, encyclopedias, microsoft works and word, what more could I ask for? Overall I am very happy with my new Gateway it has made my life much easier! Now I have no excuse to not finishing those papers or finding the web sites for my classes!  |
