Pros: much better than a mouse! easy set-up
Cons: software bugs, too much wiggle in the pen components, interference with other adjacent electronics/electrical fields.

| rdeleon's Full Review: Wacom Intuos Tablet Series |
here's the skinny: once you've tried using a wacom tablet, you'll never turn back. catch is though, you need to pick the right size. i have the small one for home use and now wish i had gotten the 6x8. then again, i also wish i had a 21" monitor. anyway, the tablet is great because you have more flexibility when using the pen as compared to using a mouse where your wrist is in a fixed position. the use of a pen provides more subtle movements that make the biggest difference. though most people who use tablets happen to be designers (such as myself), i would highly recommend the device even to non-designers, until a better solution comes along (as opposed to a mouse, that is - track balls and touch pads suck bigtime!). one problem i have though about this device is the pen. there seems to be a lot more play/movement in the button and tip of the new pens. it doesn't make for good artwork. one other problem i have noticed in using this product seems to be software related. i am not sure yet whether it is an operating system issue or an intuos driver issue, and i am still trying to find out.
