Blue's Birthday Adventure is a fun way to play "The Blue's Clues Way!" This double disk CD Rom game is a wonderful entertaining and interactive game for children aged 3-6. Steve's cute little dog, Blue, is having a birthday party, and there are 4 different adventure pathways that your child can choose from. On the yellow and blue disc, they can choose either "What does Blue want to give her guests?" or "What does Blue want to eat at her party?" On the red and blue disc, they can choose to find out "What does Blue want to do at her party?" or "What does Blue want to play at her party?"

Each different pathway has different objects that the child needs to find in order to find the 3 clues. When you find a clue, you click on it to put it in your Handy Dandy Notebook. In addition to finding clues, each pathway has different activities to further engage your child. They can make a birthday card, do puzzles, play hide and seek, collect noisemakers, and a few other fun activities.

This game teaches many different skills, including problem solving, matching, counting, color recognition, imagination and creativity. There are three levels that the child can play at, beginning, intermediate, and advanced. This is nice, because the game will grow with your child.

Children will love that this game is just like the television show. The animation is great, and Steve looks so lifelike (except that he has a really bad haircut!!) It offers hours of fun, and is well worth the money. I would recommend this game to anyone with children of this age, regardless of whether they are familiar with the television show. It is fun and engaging, and a delight to children.
