I had been using the Cannon Bubble jet 10e for a long time before this printer came my way. Now there is no going back. With the compact size and the ease of use the ability to do Black and White or Color there is no better printer than this one when it comes to conserving on space. Being a college student at a military school space is something I don’t have. When things need to be stowed away for inspection it is hard to hide a full size printer. The DeskJet 340 takes up as much space as a small loaf of bread. The fold out paper tray holds enough to print out my longest papers and still have some to spare. With the ability to do Color along with the standard Black and White it makes my papers or presentations come alive. The print is clear and crisp and the reliability is great. When on the road it fits snuggly in my computer bag and can be setup to go in seconds. The only thing that I do have a draw back for is the paper feeder. Some times it does not feed properly and you have to give it a little help. Once it is on the go though it needs no help. Space, cost, hide ability, print quality, and user friendly. You can’t go wrong here, good things do come in small packages.
