NetZero makes no promises as to it's quality of service. And if you don't want to pay for internet service, you should expect that much quality. NetZero is slow and I only use it as a last resource, if for some reason i cannot login on to my normal ISP(which i have also written a review about). The fastest I have ever been able to connect to Netzero was at 36K, which is considerably slow compared to what i connect to with my other ISP. But I can't complain because it's free. As far as the banner, it doesn't bother me at all. There are ways around the banner, although NetZero may not appreciate you doing that. Nonetheless, where there is a will, there is a way. NetZero is good if you have a lot of patience and a lot of time to sit around. Not for the aggresive Internet user.
