I got one of those "bargain basement" computers. I was very satisfied, I mean, who cares if it didn't have a monitor, I already had one, I already had a printer too. The only bad thing was that the speakers it came with absolutely sucked. I had to get some new ones.
I had $100 in my pocket, and figured I could get some pretty good speakers for my computer. So I went to the computer speaker section of my favorite store, Best Buy. They had displays of all the speakers and you could listen to them all to see which one was best. I knew I wanted one with a subwoofer, but I wasn't sure how much those would cost. While playing around with the speakers, I found these to have the best sound, and they had a subwoofer. I thought they would be the most expensive ones, but I was surprised to find that they were pretty inexpensive, only $50! I could get some great speakers and leave the store with $50 still in my pocket!
I didn't realize just how much I would benefit from these speakers until I actually replaced my old crappy speakers. Just to see, I played an MP3 out of the old speakers, and then unhooked those and hooked up these speakers. A HUGE difference. The bass was unbelieveable. The sound was incredibly realistic. How could these speakers only cost $50? There must be some catch.
Well, it's been almost a year and I still haven't found a catch, and judging by the other reviews, they haven't either. These speakers aren't expensive at all, and I expected to pay in the $70 for speakers that sound this good. My MP3s sound better than my CDs with these speakers. These speakers are a must if you are a gamer or listen to MP3s like I do.
