WHY:
When it came to buy a new computer, I was debating on DELL or GATEWAY. Based on a couple of my friends having Gateway's and their experience with their computers, not being good, I decided to give DELL a call.
Prior to calling a did some research online. I was looking for something with GREAT customer service, where I would actually talk to a live person as well as functionality. Whether or not the product would live up to it's name. I also need anything fancy with all the bells and whistles. Just a computer that didn't break down and crash on me and had enough storage to meet my needs.

I wanted to start a small home-based business and the customer representative I spoke with recommended the DELL Dimension L550r. I have him a brief business plan in regards to my computer needs and in return he gave me CLEAR definitions of everything required. He also spoke in ENGLISH and not computer jargon. Knowing that the customer service rep talked to me at a level I could easily understand, meant future calls would be just the same.

I chose this product over COMPAQ and GATEWAY based on the overall price, reviews and customer service.

I have had my computer for over a year now, have not had ONE problem with it. And believe me, I have installed quite a bit, web surfed, belong to tons of email distribution lists easily to be attacked by hackers, and to date, have not experience any problems.

Overall, this computer was the best decision I made to purchase and it's reliability has truly been an asset and made my life easy!!
