I wrote an opinion about BonziBuddy a few weeks ago - I thought it was cute. I'm afraid I have to change my opinion. I still think he's cute, but he is gone. (Sigh!)

The thing I really loved about him was the E-mail. There were little icons you could add to what you wrote, and the little purple gorilla did the actions (hugs, waves, smiles) and read the letter. Unfortunately, after I sent notes to 2 people (thankfully my sister and my best friend, and they forgave me) I heard these nightmare stories about trying to download for 6 hours!! I know I had it downloaded in less than half an hour. My friend gave up after an hour, but after 6 hours, my sister still couldn't get the E-mail, and now she says she can't get rid of the little purple guy.

After hearing this, I decided BonziBuddy had to go. At least I did not have any trouble getting rid of him. I just uninstalled it and have not heard from him since. If the E-mail had worked as I thought it would, this would have great. Unfortunately, there are still some bugs to be worked out.
