| LSOrt's Full Review: HP Pavilion 6540C |
I purchased my HP 6540C to replace an older, outdated HP Pavillion, which had served me well. I had done a lot of research on what I would want in a new computer, and had almost made up my mind to purchase a more expensive Dell, when an ad for Best Buy caught my eye. The 6540C is a nice computer for someone like me, who wanted to get into writing and recording on CD-Roms, without spending big bucks. I'm not into graphics heavy gaming, so the Celeron 466 processor, coupled with 96 MB of RAM, is zippy enough for my kids games, scanning and editing photos, and surfing the internet. HP has very nice, knowledgeable tech support, although the phone number is not toll free.
