This is truly the best way to store portable information. It is the best for many convenient reasons. First, most computers have a cd drive but not all have a zip drive. Also, with a cd you can store six times the amount of information then you can on a zip disk. Another thing that is great about it is the price. I believe that the zip drives are around the same price but the cds cost about a buck each...while the zip disks cost like ten bucks each. Its another one of those things that you can actually still get for a buck these days.
Also, with the cdrw you can copy cds like games and programs from cd to cd. But I am not trying to put into anyone's head the idea of stealing software but you could do that too if you wanted to. Also, with certain cdrw drives you can copy music cds and dvd movies. But I am not really sure that you can do that because I never have tried.
These disks can hold up to 650 megabytes in one cd. That is like 1/15 of my hard drive space and so consequently you can save a lot of hard drive space with putting all you miscellaneous files on the cds and for only about a buck each you can save the 150 dollars for the extra ten gigabytes.
The part I like most about it is that it uses cds which everyone uses instead of the zip disks which some people, including myself don't have. I predict that the zip disk's time will end soon and this will take its place. SO DON'T BYE A ZIP DRIVE AND BY A CDRW DRIVE! Even if it is a little bit more expensive it is still worth it!
