| jwilhelm's Full Review: IBM Aptiva 801 PC |
After returning my defective Compaq and storming out of CompUSA I decided to try a different approach. I had already reccomended IBMs to two of my friends, so I decided to hop over to their website and buy one myself. The system I purchased, a 475MhZ AMD, has taken everything I could throw at it and keeps going. Since purchasing the base system I have added a CD ReWriter, Printer, Zip Drive, Scanner and countless other pieces of equipment. Not only does the system still work (a struggle on some systems) but it is still as fast and reliable as ever. The IBM online store was quick in delivery and the price was a great deal for what was currently on the market. I wholeheartedly reccomend IBM to anyone, be it a first-time buyer or a die-hard techie.
