Linux users need to be very careful when buying any linksys kit containing the LNE100TX cards (or anyone just buying a card).

Linksys, for some strange reason, has given 4 different cards the same part number. The latest one, version 4.1, is a real nightmare to get running on Linux. I finally succeeded on RedHat 7, but it was not worth it.

Also be aware that Linkssys will swear the cards work fine on Linux, even put a penguin on the box. Just go to usenet or any number of other message boards if you don't believe me.

All of my ratings are based on a Linux installation. I know this is a great product on WIndows at least.
