If you are going to use multiple adbars, try Spedia

Several months ago, I posted a negative review on Spedia. However, in just a few months, Spedia has undergone some positive changes, and I have come to appreciate it. I run about six adbars, and Spedia and mValue are now my two favorites. Here are the major advantages:
SPEDIA HAS DECENT PAY RATES
Spedia pays a variable rate based on their ad revenue. This rate has been around $.48/hour for the last few months. Plus, unlike the other $.50/hour adbars(AllAdvantage, PaysU, mValue), Spedia doesn't have a maximum number of hours that you get paid for.
Spedia also promises to pay about $.70/hour for frequent surfers - those who surf 2 or more hours a day for at least 20 days a month. Supposedly, you get a star for each day that you surf 2 or more hours. However, I have never seen stars yet, and I often surf more than 2 hours a day, so, I wouldn't count on this yet.
SPEDIA HAS A GREAT REFERRAL STRUCTURE
One thing I love about Spedia is the referral structure. Most other Pay To Surfs pay you about 10% for direct referrals, 5% for level one indirect referrals, and a small percentage for up to level five indirect referrals. This sounds great, and it makes the earnings calculators show some big bucks by assuming that each person in your referral tree refers several people, but it is not realistic. I try to refer a lot of people, and I usually end up with several direct referrals, a couple of level one indirect referrals, and then the tree stops there. Spedia, however, doesn't pay for indirect referrals, but it pays 25% for direct referrals. This works just great for me - I get 2.5 times the normal pay rate for direct referrals, and, I don't get paid for indirect referrals, which I can never seem to get anyway.
SPEDIA CAN OVERLAP WITH OTHER ADBARS
The Spedia bar isn't the smartest adbar, but that can work to your advantage. While other adbars demand their own screen space, Spedia doesn't have that much sense. You can drag it right on top of any other adbar, and it stays there. If you are running 6 adbars, screen space becomes very valuable, so Spedia's stupidity becomes a great feature.
SPEDIA DOESN'T CRASH
Of the many adbars that I run, Spedia is the least likely to crash. I have occasional crashes with AllAdvantage, mValue, and GetPaid4, and frequent crashes with DesktopDollars, and PaidForSurf, but, fortunately this is a problem that I don't have to deal with with Spedia. Spedia also doesn't slow down my computer like the much touted AllAdvantage.
SPEDIA GIVES YOU LOTS OF EXTRA POINT OFFERS
I get lots of extra Spedia points(each point is worth 1 minute of surfing), for signing up for offers. Usually, I sign up for things that I never use again, and I get an extra 75, 100, or more free points - worth usually 60 cents or more. This ads up to an easy $5 a month.
A FEW ANNOYANCES
Spedia isn't perfect - it does have its share of bad features. First, whenever you have the Spedia bar on and you visit a major shopping site on the internet, an evil little window pops up asking you if you would like to "Go Spedia" - go to that shopping site through Spedia's link, so that Spedia gets credit. I find this incredibly irritating. Second, don't even bother with the Spedia games - they don't ever give me more than 5 ad points, and usually, while I am in the middle of playing a game, a little window pops up telling me that I have received some ad points. Then, my game terminates suddenly. One final annoyance is that Spedia doesn't log your time as generously as other Pay To Surf's do. Usually, I only get credit for about 3/4 of my actual surfing time - so, figure on getting about $.38/hour of actual surfing instead of the supposed $.48/hour.
In my opinion, all of the Pay To Surf's have some problems right now. However, Spedia is currently one of the best, and, it is particularly good for those of us who run multiple adbars at once and need as much screen space as possible.
