Cybermax is worth the money.

Unlike the other reviews I've been reading about CyberMax, I had a very good experience with them. About 3 years ago, I had to buy a new desktop for my job, and saw the multiple CyberMax ads in Computer Shopper, like everyone else. I was going to buy a Dell, but they were much more expensive than CyberMax for comparable models.
I called to place my order, and the guy on the other end of line was very friendly and very polite. I upgraded my computer with more RAM, an internal Zip100 drive and a DVD-Rom drive and still paid less than I would have at Dell for a standard model. The computer arrived in almost no time at all, and it was much better quality than I expected.
The keyboard, monitor and mouse were all no-frills, which was fine because Microsoft sent me a very nice free keyboard and mouse for buying their programs. They sent me a Altec Lansing speakers, along with a separate bass speaker which surprised me because I expected dinky little cheap speakers. I think they use very good quality parts because everything, from the casing to the disk drives are very solid. My computer at home is the total opposite, with cheap and flimsy parts which make a lot of noise.
I have had absolutely no problems with my computer whatsoever except for one thing. My System BIOS is terribly out of date, and I can't do a thing about it. I looked on the CyberMax website, and there was no update for it. Then I called them, and they weren't able to help me either. But the computer still works fine so I'm not worried.
If you need to buy a computer, I think that CyberMax is a good buy. The price is more than fair for the quality of the machine.
