After 4 years of trying every paper on the market, I'd decided all printer paper must at some time do this "jam" thing. It sometimes happened after I reloaded, but just as often, occurred randomly. Although it seems like a minor annoyance, which of course in relative terms it is, it had still become a source of irritation and real frustration. I'd hit "print" for one copy, and end up watching 4, 5, up to 10 slither happily out of my printer. And of course none of them had the entire page printed.
I talked to salespeople at Office Max, Office Depot, tried different papers guaranteed not to stick together; a few were specially coated with a "non-jam" finish. They jammed. My printer was not the problem. I had it checked out, and it was working fine.
8 months ago, I was in a computers-only store, and the technician recommended I try Hewlett-Packard's MultiPurpose Paper, HPM1120. It was at the low price end, no "special coating"....the question of jamming wasn't even mentioned on it's wrapping. Yep, I was dubious, but of course, ready to try again.
The problem ended - that day in July. I have never had a piece of paper come out with a little buddy trailing behind it even once since then. It really was astounding...for $4.99 a package!
This paper is the best. The images are sharp, the printing is clear and dark, and the paper has a brightness of 90 (I guess that's good...it looks super). This printer paper is, in my opinion, the best quality paper on the market. It's just too bad it took me this long to find it. But it was definitely worth the search. Sometimes we DO get what we pay for, but this was definitely not the case during my 4 year search. HPM1120 meets all my printing needs beautifully.
