We actually did not purchase our Toshiba 2100, but we are using it for my husband's company. Our previous laptop (company name withheld) was not as powerful, which to me, makes internet surfing much more enjoyable. I like the idea of a notebook computer because it is easily portable as well. Things that are not advantageous are the lack of a number pad (which I understand has not been perfected in such a way as to not add size to the laptop,) and in the case of the Toshiba 2100, the eraser-head mouse ball. Our old notebook at least had a touch pad. Consequently, we had to add our own standard mouse to the system. It works well, but it is cumbersome. If we were purchasing one for our personal use, it probably would be a few steps up from the Toshiba 2100.
