I was finally able to pick this card up today after waiting about a month for it to be available and I almost creamed my pants.
The Prophet II 64MB version not only boasts the most DDR Memory currently available on the commercial market but is also packed with extra features. The chipset is the second generation GeForce GTS. It boasts a wicked fast RamDac and Gigatexel Rendering. The card worked flawlessly while rendering textures and rotating polygons and figures in the leading games. I also have never had a card that performed so well in rendering 3D images.
The Prophet II also contains a DVD decoder and S-video out so You can turn your computer into a DVD player. Not to mention the digital out for the newer flat pannel LCD displays that are available, make this card a worth while investment.
I can't wait to compare it to an Annihilator 2 with equal memory, and I am trying to get a hold of a Voodoo5 5500 to compare it with. The only other thing to wait for is nVidia to release the drivers for Linux and then we are all set for another year and a half.
The Prophet II 64MB is a killer card and I would recommend it to any gamer, 3D artist/ computer graphician, or anyone building a new high end machine.
