I have to say that tdk has done it again. My first burner was the tdk 8x 4x 32x with no problems what so ever. Now, Tdk has just come out with a faster product. I just had to get it. Tdk products are well built. For starters, I've noticed that there burners are made in japan. We all know that japan built products are very reliable. My 2 burners were made in japan and not some 3 world country where labor is so cheap. These are the things that I take notice of. Tdk certifies that there products are 100% compatible. For those that build there own computers from scratch, this is a plus. Tdk provides burn proof technology. Just like plextor. It may be the same technology that plextor uses. It can audio extract(rip)a music cd at speeds up to 24x. I have a kenwood 72x cd-rom and it can only audio rip at speeds up to 12x. Tdk even copies bit for bit information. Really important for those people that likes to burn games and stuff. Some burners don't support clone cd program. The list just goes on. DON'T WORRY! YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS BURNER!
