I wanted to share my experience with filing my taxes on line, now I don't have a complicated tax form, I filed your basic 1040.
Last year I used turbo tax on line and it was a breeze!! I was a little skeptical due to the low price, 9.95 for your federal taxes and this includes your electronic filing also. But last year it went through fine, I filed and within 2 to 3 weeks my refund was deposited into my checking account. I didn't have to even leave my house!
So once again this year I have filed with turbo tax again, filed last night, and today it showed my status that my electronic filing had been accepted by the IRS. It is so easy to use, and if you're not sure you can go through and complete your taxes before you ever have to pay, just answer the questions and fill in the amounts. They still had my dependents and everything on file from last year so it was even quicker. Go to www.turbotax.com and give them a try. Save time and money and get a quicker refund!!!
