After several months of investigation. I purchased a Compaq Presario 5735. I compared pricing by building my own computer and that of which was already built and it is definitely more cost effective to purchase a system already built, plus you have the manufacturer's warranty and customer service to help if you run into an problems.
To date I have had few problems with the system. It is very user friendly and the literature that came with the system has been very useful. On two occasions I have had to contact Compaq regarding the system and the customer service number they give you is easy to get through on and the customer service representatives are very courteous and professional and have been able to assist me with all my questions.
I purchased this system for our small at home business. All the software that comes with the system has been very easy to use and set up. The internet access was very easy to set up and start using immediately.
