Just to update about where one can purchase a V7700 deluxe. As of 7/22, www.tccomputers.com has over 80 units of the new GeForce2 (with video input) for $329!

The deluxe is out as we speak (although not mentioned on the Asus website as of 7/21/00). On my wholesaler webpage, it mentions they have them in stock right now. I can't wait to pick up a gf2..I've been using a voodoo2 for too long!

Just a minor correction about the cons of Gjax's opinion. The Asus V7700 GeForce2 DELUXE will be available soon. One web site (www.computerhq.com) started taking orders last month for it at a steep price of $450. Check it out. I would imagine similar to the Pure and Deluxe version of V6800, it wouldn't be hard for ASUS to put a V7700 Deluxe version out soon since the both cards are identical except the extra TV-in-out connections. The question when, just depends on how much profit ASUS makes out of the Pure version before they decide its time to boost sales with the Deluxe version.
