I am going to purchase a hand held, and was considering the visor, because it looks neat. Reading this review made me realize I need to do my homework, before buying something just for the looks and appeal. Thank you for the pros and cons

I have created categories for some of my epinions. I have suggested several categories to epinions.com.
In accordance with epinions.com guidelines, I have chosen the next best category for the time being. As it is specific to the HandSpring Visor the Deluxe, that's this category.
Naturally, I will move this opinion when a better category is presented.

THis is clearly a review on Visor software/a fix of some sort... not of the Handsoring Visor Deluxe itself. There may not be a specific category for this particular item yet, but that's why you can suggest an item to Epinions. Simply posting one anyways under another category is inappropriate!

The Compaq has a great colour screen, a fast ARM processor and is expandable - all at a price.
The Visor runs Palms OS and thus the thousands of applications available for it for a relatively low price. And it offers a SpringBoard slot as well.
Your most important choice is between Windows CE 3.0 ("Pocket PC OS") and Palm OS devices.

You know, if the manufacturers could do as good a job with their documentation and readme files, we'd all be a lot better off. I don't have a Visor (yet) but was doing the usual due diligence and came across your review.
Now do decide...Visor of Compaq iPaq. Decisions, decisions.
