Thid CD-copier is fast and from my experiences it is reliable. Cd's copy fast it really does copy at 4x. Full CD's seem to be finished in about 15 minutes. This is really quick since most of my friends have a 2x cd recorder which take a little over half an hour for each copy. Once in a while a cd will not copy right but not as often as my friends drives, which seem to be every other couple of copies. The copy that the sony produces makes good copies and rarely has any skip or bumps in the program. The drive works beautifially with Sony's own CD-R's they seem to produce the best copies consistently on the drive. Go figure that more money for them. The only problem that I have is the price which is a good 30-40 dollar mark up for the name SONY. This is probably worth it, but it was hard to dish out more money for just a pretty name. I like generic in most things but I wanted a good brand CD-R. In general a very solid buy and a good quality copier.
