My experience has been a little better than those others that I read on epinions. I have purchased 2 Krup protects - a toaster oven and a coffee maker. I was attracted to the site by the named brands I was looking for in these products. I did recommend this site to my sister, sgentile with a warning.

The key to this site is to realize that most of the deals are for refurbished products. Also, the shipping expenses were very high. My advice, after watching the site in operation is you can get a good deal only if you discipline yourself to catch the first bid. Next, do not raise your bid, since the venders are selling refurbished items, which should sell at a discount. As soon as that auction is over another auction will begin in a matter of days selling the same product. What you will gain with patience is a good "deal" - do not get hyped into the action atmosphere. I would not recommend this site for high priced items; however, with my warning in mind household products may deserve a look, in this auction.

I found the service was fair. The coffee maker we received was the wrong color. We returned the product and Krup corrected the error. The process did take about a month.

I would no longer recommend this site to a friend. My opinion is down graded from my earlier experience, because of the problems I had with the site added to the experiences others have had in epinions. I still believe you can get a good deal; however, the investment in your time is not worth the possibility of future problems from a refurbished product.
