| mrpoetryman's Full Review: Gateway Performance 600 |
To tell the truth, this is one product whose name say's it all: Performance. It's as simple as that. I bought my Performance 600 with a 20.4 GB Hard Drive, 128 RAM, 56K Flex Modem, Enhanced 17 Inch Monitor, Boston Acoustic Speakers with Subwoofer, and a Hewlett Packard 832C Printer.
Installing everything is a breeze, since each component is color coded. After everything was unpacked, it took me 15 minutes to put it together. The choice of software is pretty good. Some of it is installed for you at the factory, while the rest comes in CD's that you must install yourself. You have a choice of at least 4 ISP's to connect with the Internet, as well as Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator to choose as your browsers.
The reason that I decided to purchase a Gateway was on the advice of family and friends. Each person that I spoke with had no difficulties with their Gateway products. You can now add me as another satisfied Gateway Computer owner.
