First, I want to make it clear that I am biased to Dell due to the fact that it is the first computer I ever purchased and has only been the only brand that I have ever purchased. Now to the review. I placed an order on Dell's website for a Dimension XPS 500 with DVD drive. I immediately received a confirmation from Dell that they had received my order. The next day I receive an email stating that my order had been processed and that the production of the computer had been started. Through Dell's great tracking page I could see step-by-step where my computer was in the production process. When the computer was finished and shipped I was sent an email saying that my computer was on it's way.

I received the computer and wow is it great. It is everything I wanted and a lot more. It was incrediably easy to hook up, I just had to match the colors of the wires up to the holes on the back of the computer. Dell does a great job of getting all of the software pre-installed perfectly. Another benefit to when I ordered was I received a free printer. That just made this purchase even better

I would recommend to anyone wishing to get a great computer to go to Dell. Yes, they are a little more expensive than other computer companies but trust me when it comes to the customer service before and after you have received your computer that extra cost is well worth it.
