Yeah its for free, so automatically i can comend them it is good. The owners of NetZero make a lot of money though. How you ask? well when and if you connect at 28.8, with a 56k baud modem, you will see the largest ad banner with all these little perks that take up even more room on your screen.
With NetXero running i have a hard time surfing the net, and doing anything, bc it is so slow. Out of all of the ISP's i have owned [6] this is the complete worst, even taking into consideration it is free.
My solution to NetZero? I deleted it, and got a cable modem, to keep up with todays fast world.
You say your in college and you can't afford any other ISP, then thats so cool, use it, i am just simply saying NetZero wasn't Made for me. Maybe it was fot you. try it out.
