The Asus P3C-E is what I am currently running in one of my systems. I bought it because of the high quality and ease of installation that I have come to expect from Asus. This board was no exception. I am impressed with all but two of the features, that being the RIMM slots on the board and the Intel i820 chipset. I was expecting much more out of the i820 chipset when combined with the RDRAM but only noticed a minor improvement in performance over the popular 440BX chipset. If you want to use the SDRAM DIMMS you must buy an additional DR2 riser which makes it possible to use PC100 SDRAM, your other option being to use the still expensive RDRAM. The board is extremely stable and lends itself well to a 4x AGP video card. With the Pentium 4's requiring the RDRAM, this board is all ready for the new generation of RAM. This motherboard would be well suited for a mid to high end system using a Slot 1`Pentium III.
