If your not the kind of person who wants to build a computer from scratch, but you do know some of the parts that you want included in your system, Gateway is the way to go. When I purchased the 900 Deluxe, I was wary of Gateway. I mean, come on, how many times have you bought something that had TV ads and found it to be expensive trash? Well, my fears were soon laid to rest when I plugged this sweet machine in and set it running. The first thing that I noticed was that it was fast. After using a pentium 75mhz for a number of years, a 900mhz system seems like they just fed it some crack or something. After mopping up my drool due to the speed, I took a closer look at the actual setup. The video, audio, and software packages were up to my standard, and they all worked quite well. After installing some of my own software, and poking around a bit more, I have come to the conclusion that Gateway computers are A-O.K. I would definatly buy one in the future.
