Winamp is NOT a great player. The ability to skin was great when winamp first came out. Now every program has the ability to skin and use visualizations. This is not new. Programs like Music Match Jukebox and Real player contain all the same features and have the ability to record cd quality mp3's without downloading another plugin. Here's the biggest limitation of winamp in my opinion it CANNOT shuffle play. For user that have upwards of 200 songs or more, i have 800, and like to just shuffle them all you will hear some songs 100 times before you hear any of the other half. It truly is ridiculous. That is why I reccomend Music Match Jukebox as the music player and recorder for the music enthusiast.
