We bought a Dell XPT series desktop through its employee purchase program.
It comes with 10% discount, internet-ready and three-year next-business-day service program. The nice things about this computer are excellent voice and video quality for gaming, one-click internet, compact design, and easy color-coded installation/connection. The system came pre-loaded and worked fine. We did have a few questions about some add-ons such as on-line backup and server account set-up. So we called the technical support line and they were quite helpful. The waiting time was adequate. The only thing that concerns me is that they do not seem to be willing to deal with any issues related to Microsoft software. Maybe that's usual. I was given the suggestion that if I am prompted with problems while using MS Office,just re-install the software. Luckily, I have not had any problem so far.By the way, this is one of their award-winning desktop series.
