Dial Pad was recommended to me by a friend a while back, but I had to wait until I could get someone to get my microphone working. I was kind of skeptical at first, but this is great.
The first person I called was my mother-in-law. She lives about 30 miles away and when she answered the phone the connection was great. At first she said she could hear herself echoing, but with some minor adjustments it got a lot better. During the conversation she mentioned she was on her cordless phone at the back of her property. This really impressed me! I couldn't believe we were getting such a clear connection.
I use it every day and it's really saving me money. We live in a rural area and the majority of my calls are long distance so I wish I'd known about this a long time ago.
The only problem I've found with Dial Pad is their customer service. I've been helping a friend troubleshoot her computer so that she too can use the program and after quite a few e-mails I cannot get a clear, satisfactory answer to her problem.
I will continue to use this program as often as possible. It's one of the best most convenient programs I have on my computer. Everyone should use it!!!!!!
