This is my second Dell system.The first one an XPS T600 has been a joy to
use.Any and all issues have been delt with promptly and courtesly.
I have had the XPS T700r for about two weeks.It is a refurbished computer.I have found absolutely no issues with a refurbished computer.
The configuration was better for the dollar (128ramdam/27 gig 7200hd).
I could tell no noticeable difference between my new 600 and my refurbished T700r in the way it ran.Both quiet fast machines.
The 600 did a Norton benchmark of 278 (both have same ram and videocard)
and the T700 benchmarked at 362.
For those who financial situation prohibits them from buying a new computer every three years Dell offers a 5 year parts warranty which is transferable a good selling point down the road.
I just need to add the fine support that Dell has given me.They have been prompt courteous and knowledgeable.
First class systems from a first class company.I hope everyones experience with Dell has been as good as mine.
For upgraders the motherboard on the 600 and 700 is an Intel SE440BX-3
oem upgradeable to 800mtz.Intel has a link to oem motherboards on their website(SISoft Sandra idenified the MB)an issue about changing mother boards is that Dells power supply plug is supposed to be propiertry.
