Gateway Oct 08 '00    Write an essay on this topic. Tweet I agree with the individual who indicated that Gateway Computers are terrible. I purchased a Solo 2150 in February of this year. I have attempted to use the online service three times. They do not read the issue. They have not been able to assist at all. I have had the computer in to the Gateway Country Store Service Centers and they have solved the problem each time. They are located 90 miles from me however. It wouldn't boot They replaced the chasis. A key pad cover popped off and unlike the IBM you need a technical degree to get it back on. Currently the Computer will not write to Drive C. They indicate it is a virus but this same virus has not been identified on my Dell which I interchange disks with each day. I would not recommend this computer to my worst enemy.
