This is a very light and small laptop that still packs a fair amount of power and has a nice docking station. A much improved version of the 7010 with more power and most important a larger LCD with 1024x768 resolution
I liked:
- the size, looks and general feel and performance
- Battery lasts about 2+ hours depending on usage
- The screen is crisp and thin
- docking station is easy to use and comes with DVD drive
- Speakers on docking station are pretty good
- Dependable , has all ways worked for me, although I would partially attribute this to Win NT which is a better choice then Win 95/98
- optional 192k great (if you have NT you will need it)
- large 6 gig disk
- Fast CPU and display card
I did not like:
- doesn't have a touch pad (uses thinkpad style kbd pointer)
- Reset button is still quirky
- Docking station does not support 1280x1024 res at 75 or higher refresh rate so, really you are stuck with 1024x768, which is to bad if you have a 19 inch+ Monitor
- Fan on docking station is rather load whenever is chooses to go on
Summery:
Dependable and light road warrior, the Toshiba of choice.
