It's Me, your raving epinionator, here to tell you about a fantastic firewall that everyone should have that doesn't cost a dime. It's called "ZONE ALARM"(www.zonelabs.com). This firewall holds it's own next the expensive firewalls, and once again it is free!! Listen, don't take my word for it folks, download the software, install it, and then go to this site, (www.grc.com). click on the banner "shieldsup". On the next page, click on the shieldsup banner again. Now, make sure that your "ZONE ALARM" is set to high at all times, this will not effect your surfing on the net AT ALL. The way to set the preferences is to double click the ZONE ALARM icon in your task bar, click on security,and slide the bar to high on both sides. Now, once that is done, scroll down the GRC website and click on Test my shields, once that is done, click on test my ports, The outcome of the test on "Probe my ports" should ALL be in "STEALTH". What that means is that your computer does not exist on the internet. In other words, you are invisible to the internet world!! That is the way it should always be.
