Great Video Card

Pros: Very fast, Sharp & Clear, Great color
Cons: GeForce 2 cards are faster at OpenGL games only, (Unreal, etc...)

I love this card so far! I was looking for a Voodoo3, but since the 4 is only a few dollars more than the 3 - 3500 I figured why not give it a try. It has a much faster processor, memory, 32 bit color, etc.. over the voodoo3. I runs through all the ZDNet benchmarks with flying colors. All my games run great on it and they look great.
One thing, you really need a pretty fast processor to take full advantage of this card. The spec's for the AGP version call for a P2 400 at least. I have an AMD k6-3 400 MHZ and it runs fine, but a 600 or 800 MHz processor would help a lot. So, the good news is that I am set for the future when I upgrade! If you have a P1 or slower P2 a Voodoo3 may the best performance bang for your money. Voodoo Banshee cards run very well on slower processors also. The Diamond Monster Fusion was about the best of those cards. However, the Voodoo4 4500 is unbelievable. The PCI version will work better on slower processors.
