Final Fantasy 8 (hereafter FF8) is one of the top RPG's that I've ever played. The emphasis this time is on romance, and on the story, not on combat. FF8 has the best graphics I've ever seen, and the music sucks you into the story line. The story line is extremly well written, and it makes you want to get through it as fast as possible. The characters are very realistic, and you actually get attached to them. The more you play this game, the more you'll get hooked. Some have said that it it's not better than FF7, but the comparison is tough because of the fact that FF8 was constructed with emphasis on the story line, and FF7 was constructed to have emphasis on combat. While FF7 had some non-plot dialouge, FF8 has lots of it, and it's very interesting. Overall, FF8 promises to follow in the footsteps of it's predecessors and become a classic game that no one will forget for a long time.
