I have tried several internet telephony programs over the past year. From Netmeeting and MediaPhone (which I hate) to my trial run of Firetalk last night!

I must say that I was truly amazed at the clarity of this program. With the exception of a few cut-outs, it was almost as clear as a regular telephone conversation. There was no dropped carriers either, which I find to be a real bonus!

The best part about Firetalk is that it is not only for telephony purposes, but also a text chat much like ICQ.

All in all, I feel that Firetalk is the best internet telephony program around!
