The everglide pad is a fine piece of work, and the best alternative to the 3M surface used in the 3M and Logitech pads.

The basis of these new mouse pads is to keep your mouse ball (and surrounding hardware) clean as your mouse tracks over the pad. If you use a standard mousepad, this obviously is not accomplished, as any hardcore computer user will get his/her mouse dirty again within just a few days.

While having a micro-textured surface similar to that of the 3M pad, the everglide is made completely of plastic, and is machine washable. Although the pad's height takes a while to get used to, it runs very well, and always keeps your mouse clean.

In addition, it's very easy to clean. I highly reccomend this product.
