rCompac Presario 7462 is fine for the personal family.
The speed of CPU is k6 500MHz, which is good enough to surf the Internet or do some office work in the home such as doing document, scanning picture, programming your own homepage, writing email, or even programming some complex software with Visual C++ or Java, etc.
The system memory is 64M, which makes the computer quicker than the computer with memory 32M. 10GB hard disk is large enough for a family to use. And the price is really reasonalable.
To my opinion, this one is just the right thing to buy. The good speed and
more than enough hard disk and most important, the resonable price. Only $999 after rebate. It is affordble and considerable.
As a college student, I like it. I always use it to contact with my friends and surf the internet.
