I have both AOL and AIM on my computer. I must admit for chatting I only use AIM. It's easier to use than AOL, and a lot faster. I can also use it where ever I am instead of having to load AOL onto a new computer. It also allows me to register my AOL account name onto AIM so I don't have to have millions of screen names to remember. I love how Instant Messenger brings updates to my attention. I never have an old version of AIM. I would have to say keeping in touch with friends has become so much easier now that I have this program. Phone bills stay low, and hey, my typing is getting better. With the new AIM I now have the option to connect directly with my friends and talk over the computer microphone. This way I never miss hearing their voice!
