I have recently become the owner of a Dell Dimension 4100 and have been quite pleased with the product.Flexible selection, tailored configuration and a selection of quality peripherals made ordering the computer enjoyable. Well-marked inputs, color-coding connectors (a la Packard Bell) and larger than life documentation makes setting up the system easy, even for the novice user.

Overall, system performance is wonderful and whatever problems I have experienced are inherent to the OS, which on my system is Microsoft Windows 98 SE. The most annoying was that the computer would not shut down properly. After scouring the Microsoft site and downloading the updates that should have corrected the problem, I discovered that Dell came to the rescue with a BIOS update to ameliorate the conflict. Once this update was completed I had arrived in the Dellicious 4100 Dimension.

Dell support was quite helpful and the support website offered me a myriad of options to solve any problem I might have. Online support chat, extensive KnowledgeBase and user message boards are just a few of the options, as well as personalized support settings based on my Express Service Code, this allows a user to view service history and receive updates that are pertinent only their specific machine based on service history as it was configured at the factory.

In closing, I am quite pleased with my new acquisition and would recommend it without doubt. The Dell 4100 Dimension is well architectured and reliable. Dell support is exceptional. The faults that I did find were attributed to outside sources and once overcome were inconsequential to the overall quality of the product. Which leads me to believe that my 4100 is definitely Dellicious.
