This review contains an in-depth list of the pros and cons that come along with the Dell Dimension XPS T600 package. In my opinion, Dell is THE BEST computer manufacturing company unless you have the resources to build your own PC. Enjoy the review!
Pros:
3 year warranty -
If you build your own computer, there is no warranty except for the manufacturers warranty on the individual parts. With Dell you get a whole lot more!
Next business day on-site service -
When I first bought my computer about a year ago, I didn't know anything about troubleshooting or repair. Dell's computers are quality machines and rarely need repair. However, it's great to know that you this extra security with Dell's excellent service and technical support record.
Customize your own PC -
Dell allows you to choose what you want from a list of features and you can build your own computer on Dell's easy to use website.
Large hard drive -
The 20GB hard drive is more than enough space and after a year I still haven't used half the space.
NVIDIA GeForce graphics card -
The graphics are phenomenal. I play many high-graphic video games and have had no problems.
In conclusion, this machine is well built and uses quality components to provide you with an excellent personal computer!
Cons:
The speakers that come with this computer are of poor quality. However, I recommend that you purchase the Altec-Lansing ACS340 Speakers and Subwoofer for an extra $60 from Dell. The sound quality is phenomenal for the price! I even tried to buy an extra set for my friends computer, but Dell only allows you to buy only one set per computer because they are so inexpensive. You cannot find these speakers anywhere else online and to match the quality you will have to pay an extra $50 dollars. This is just another reason why purchasing a Dell computer is smart.
In addition, you may have noticed that the cost of this PC is quite expensive. For what you get, the Dimension XPS T600 is well worth the money. What do you pay for? The warranty and tech support! If you are not too knowledgeable about computers then the Dell package is right for you. However, If you know what you are doing, I suggest that you build your own computer for a cheaper price. Furthermore, I would like to add the following warning...

- scanning (scanner does not come with computer)
- video conferencing
