At 87 Hamelech George just north of Dizengoff center is a place called the Inbar. They have so-so tea and coffee and pretty pathetic pastries. Unlike the computer lab at school, I have to pay to use the comptuers here. So why do I come here?
The InBar has MagInnovision 570V monitors. Sometimes, when I have to look at pictures on-line, I want really good resolution. These monitors are the best.
The manufacturer's web page gives the following technical information:

Frankly, most of this means little or nothing to me. What I know is that this monitor offers incredibly clear resolution. Looking at a photo a friend scanned and sent to me, I was able to see the scar on her daughter's chin where she had stitches. I can see the variations in colors on a sweater a friend made for her husband and can even see her grey hair in the pictures (she's starting to go a bit salt and pepper.)
This monitor is equal to or better than any monitor I have worked on before. When I have done some word-processing on it, I find my eyes less tired than when I work on other monitors. I'm not sure if it's the clarity or what other factors might play in.
It is easy to adjust this monitor. If I have to purchase a monitor at some later date...assuming I ever have money again...I will definitely have this monitor on my short-list of possibilities.
Oh, and the chocolate croissants at the InBar are actually pretty good, too.
