Word 2000, it is possibly the best Word yet. I used to be a Corel WordPerfect user until I saw Word 2000. Unlike its predecessors Word 2000 doesn't do annoying auto complete features that you can't remove, but rather watches your typing and follows your pattern. If you double space and put a _____ after every paragraph it will start doing that, if you don't like it just move over it hit delete and it won't do it again. Another nice feature is the fact that it shows your common grammar errors underlined in green and spelling in red. It has new, almost human like, correction power. All you have to do is right click a word and select the correct answer. It corrects commonly misspelled words or a mistype, even down to something as simple as “teh” instead of “the”. Word 2000 allows for many new symbols and automatically changes many symbols that are typed like (c), :), (R) etc into the graphic form to make it look nicer. Its auto head feature allows you to automatically have your name or your company logo added to the page when you start. The date features, which include an auto date, which updates the date every time you open it, are superb. Word 2000 has many other advanced features like easy image and clipart adding along with editing right inside. Word 2000 also converts more files then ever including Corel WordPerfect. Word 2000 allows for new bullet pointing also. Instead of those dull bullet points you can use things like check boxes, checks, stars, anything you can really come up with is in there. In all Word 2000 is a product you cant live without!
