Free aint always a good thing!

I had just come upon a virus that my other virus scanner, McAfee wouldn't pick up because i hadn't updated the system, but my free update was gone. So then i get the bright idea to look on the net for a free virus scanner. I get to looking and I find this, Inoculate It. At first I thought it's too good to be true, but then after it successfully wiped my virus off I changed my mind.
So after two weeks of virus free, or seemingly virus free computing it all goes to hell. I can't do anything, can't get online, can't even click on the start menu without the computer freezing up. So then I get my friend who is a computer programmer to come over, and see if he can fix it. Well to make a long story short, it ends up that all the problems are coming from Inoculate It, and he had to "re-build" my computer.
So if your thinking about getting a free virus scanner, think again. Or at least don't get this one. My advice is to just have a back-up disk ready that you can just pop in there, and have everything back to normal. So if you like your computer how it is, take my advice, and keep a back-up disk handy.
